Jul 23, 2007 It is using Acronis in it and we are trying to make a bootable media with option ' Create Bootable Media'.It creates the bootable media in ISO format.I have used that ISO to make a CD and then i have tried to boot the PC with that CD.It boots but it gives this message ' Acronis Loader: No configuration file present'. The bootwiz files will still be in the OS but it worked fine in this condition in my machine. Another possible fix is to run a recovery console repair (fixmbr, bootcfg /add, bootcfg /rebuild, or even chkdsk /r). Previously when I used OSS and the 'configuration file not present' was listed it booted into windows when I pressed the ENTER key.

Just downloaded and burned a CD for the following from My Products: Product native bootable media Build: #5560 Size: 435.63 MB Date: 2013-08-28 00:00:00 Getting 'Acronis Loader: No Configuration File Present' when attempting to boot from the CD.
Acronis Boot Loader No Configuration File Presents
Hello people,
Tried to start my workstation today and got this message. Recently my 2009 true image stopped working (i could not get it to process any back-ups) so i uninstalled it with the intention of reinstalling. Could not get the install to work, can't remember the error. PC has booted fine a few times since then.
I was planning to upgrade, but for the moment i really need the boot process to skip the loader. Have some very important work to be done!
Any help would be much apprieciated.
Kind regards, Shaun

Best solution might be to use a prior backup and restore the system back to working. Save any current files before the restore.

Once working, you can also restore 2009 overtop an existing install by restarting the normal install program.
