One of the big problems with using cnc equipment is quickly tracing parts and shapes into the computer for cutting. Trying to create the design in cad takes hours.

Can anyone recommend a Digitizer Tablet like the CalComp Drawing Board III that works as a pointing device in Win10 64 bit, ADI 4.2 Wintab compatible in AutoCad 2019 or later and would give me back my beloved Tablet Menu? I found AutoCad very efficient with the old style tablet menu, four areas, screen pointing area.
A digitizing tablet, or digitizer, is a peripheral device that can be used to trace paper drawings into a drawing file or to choose commands from a digitizing tablet overlay. With the Wintab driver, the tablet pointer can also be used instead of a mouse as a system pointer to choose user interface elements and drawing objects or to interact.

Here's How It Works
Suppose you want to pick a command from tablet menu area 2. As you move your puck cursor into the menu area, an image representing the menu area (we call this a VideoTemplateTM), and an ARROW representing your digitizer cursor position will instantly appear on your screen. (See picture.)
The location of the ARROW on the VideoTemplate corresponds to the exact position of your puck's cursor on your digitizer template. By using the 'heads-up' ARROW, you can now move your digitizer cursor to any template command without looking down. When you press the pick button to select the command you want, the VideoTemplate will automatically disappear. Or you can just move your digitizer cursor back into the screen pointing area to cause the VideoTemplate to automatically disappear from your screen.
